This feels like a bit of a wasted day. Didn’t do anything much, just focussed on trying to get better before my in person meet job interview tomorrow. Yes, on Good Friday!
Felt groggy from Night Nurse all morning, and weak as a kitten and dizzy around lunch time. Maybe because I didn’t have food. Made my usual pork and egg congee and ate industrial quantities of that.

Was debating whether to go to the gym to check out if they have the equipment for a rehab exercise. I’m glad I did. The rehab exercises actually made me feel better. It felt surprisingly strenuous. But at least I felt like I accomplished something instead of just trying to do the minimal amount of work and keeping upright / not falling over all day.
Also popped into Runner’s Need to pick up a new pair of Hoka Bondi 9s to replace my torn Hoka Bondi 8s. I had to insist before they would give me a credit note for the tear in the Bondi 8s, after just a few months of use. I had debated switching to ASICS Gel Nimbus 27 for variety, instead of being a Hoka girl. Partly because I didn’t like the Hoka colourway available at Runner’s Need (lol, so superficial!). But reviews seem to suggest the Hoka Bondi 9 is better than the ASICs, and also Bondi 8, so why change a winning team? (Or why change for the sake of changing?) And I persuaded myself that the lavender colour really isn’t so bad.

I’ll start off with a single Night Nurse tonight – hopefully that will be enough to do the trick. I worry that I will be too groggy tomorrow morning if I take two. I need to be charming, bright, and sparky, and not look like I’m hungover or like death warmed over.
My tank of positivity is running low…
