Hmm…. I can understand why I’ve been so exhausted all week. And quite grumpy today, especially with the really hot weather (max of 31°C!!). I have massively ramped up my training load this week, and am at 620% of my weekly goal, and substantially higher than prior weeks.

My higher effort, combined with less and inconsistent sleep is making it all even more difficult.

Maybe that’s why I’m gassed out even on ‘easy’ runs. That also probably explains how I fell during my run while trying to multi task – checking route while running. It’s only the second time I’ve fallen and injured my knees since I started running. But it’s never fun. Now it’s going to be painful to do lunges for a while.
I’m glad Runna gave me a rest day next week, so I’m doing a less run than usual. But I have a difficult interval run coming up, where I will probably miss my pace targets. Instead of getting my nice “pace on point” notifications, they will probably downgrade my targets, since I’m already under “review” and “monitoring”.
