Some people think I’m behaving like an over-ambitious “Tiger Mom”, pushing my kid to do activities even as a baby. While I don’t know what my attitude will be like in future, I don’t think my current hyperactivity is attributable to a “Tiger Mom” attitude.
A couple of weeks after the Little Bug was born, the Boy commented that he felt relieved that I was more maternal than he had expected.
My Little Buddy is teething right now, which means that he’s in tears a lot of the time, and I’m in tears some of the time (e.g. today). His boob preference (he prefers the left), which I have just about almost (barely) come to terms with, has turned into outright boob rejection. He would feed for just a few minutes (1-3 minutes), then pull away, then wail, and he would cry even harder and turn tomato-red if I try to put him back on my boob.
Yesterday, Baby-Ao had his first baby swimming lesson.
Baby Ao just turned 100 days old today!
To celebrate, the Boy and I went out for a romantic dinner at Pearl Liang tonight.
Ao rolled over from front to back today!
Baby Ao has been very fussy lately. I went to a Mums & Babies yoga class today, and barely got to do any yoga because after the first 15 minutes of good behaviour, the Little Bug started to fussing, so I tried soothing him, then feeding him, to no avail. Each time he calmed down, I would put him down and try to resume my practice, but he would scrunch up his face and start crying soon after, stopping only once I picked him up and carried him.
Baby-Ao just turned 10 weeks (71 days) today.
How time has flown! Baby-Ao is now ~9.5 weeks’ old, just about a week past his 2 month birthday.
Baby-Ao has eyelashes now! It’s good to know that my milk is being put to good use in growing thing (hopefully his brain too!!) and not just being regurgitated all over himself, myself, the pillow, bed etc.
